persistance

Just letting everyone who reads this know that there was no news this week. It's been a long week and I'm glad for the weekend.

One blessing we have received however, has been in the form of the community of adoptive families who pray for and support one another. One of these families, who are also adopting from Rwanda, and who happen to be very close to us in line, actually lives here in KY, about 2 hours away. We have been emailing, and are meeting for dinner tomorrow night about 1/2 between us.

I am so excited about this! Fellow believers who have also been called to adoption in Rwanda! They have requested two boys, so one day, all our little ones will get together and play. Maybe they are friends in the orphanage right now. Regardless, our kiddo will know other kiddos like him or her and be given the opportunity to bond with them. Matt and I will have other parents close, whom we may very well travel with one day, to share our joys and experiences along the way. God it good!
